Not yet Dermo. It was the bank who do our building insurance who said they could do both cheaper than we pay for buildings only. Feckin' liars! That's the only reason we went in!

Re: What are you doing today??
Breezes round to the shop for a paper and saw a face from the past, like 46 years ago
Janets bezzie mate Christine, Funny how people age but stay the same, anyway turns out she didnt fall on her feet like Janet did Scruffy shoes, shoulder bag strap broken and tied in a knot, grey hair all a mess on top of her head, buying 20 fags at a cost of £7,20p on a credit card
I was going to tap her on the shoulder and say hello, but i thought nah she may invite herself
round for old times sake , Never see the back of her, She used to be a stunner too
I find if you slag one person a day off it makes you feel a whole lot better about yourself,
I havent said anything to Janet, I'l save it for when she needs a boost about herself,
and to remind her how well she married

Re: What are you doing today??
Just back from Limerick after buying a treadmill from a nice Indian family. For those of you that don't know, Limerick is known over here as Stab City and the house wasn't in the greatest of areas ( luckily very near a hospital just in case!) but no one shot me or stabbed me . This city was feckin nuts a few years ago though. There was a big war going on between 2 gangs. One of them killed a pub owner cos his son refused booze to the younger sister ( 14) of one of the gang leaders. They were even trying to shot each others territory with high powered rifles across the Shannon estuary ( 3 miles). Another lad was shot dead in a case of mistaken identity cos he looked like a bouncer who wouldnt let drug dealers into a nightclub. Mad stuff. Shit like this never happened when the IRA were about. Bit like the Krays in London.

Re: What are you doing today??
Seems like i spend quite a lot of time and money into replacing or fixing domestic appliances,
There's 15 of the blady things, not including irons , microwaves, hoovers etc,
So i was just registering the most recent fridge freezer and the lass said blimey you do a lot of this,
Why dont you do a job lot of repair contracts up to 5 years old, So i have,
Now i will stick the phone number on the wall round the students, phone them not me

Wishing wells. We now have our very own Trevi Fountain in Green Park or Parque Verdi if you prefer, spotted a 5p and a 10p coin in there! The Russians are busy eyeing up the fish....... Talking of fish they were knocking out fresh cod fillet for £5kg today in Tesco, 10 bits lined up but I didnt want to appear greedy, just 8 bits please.
Took son Jack for an interview and 'test' at Huntingdon Hospital for job this morning, he said there were 30 applicants but 25 vacancies. I asked how many were 'white English' he said about 10. I'm surprised he wasnt the only one to be honest, dodedodedum.

Re: What are you doing today??
Err,,,,,, we had a fire at Green Park in the storage building. They only built it about 5 years ago. Totally gutted, roof all gone, twisted steel roof beams, steel doors bent, 'bricks' totally fecked at the top. A right mess. Also saw a fire in an apartment, it was immediately underneath the Presidents abode and rumour was he flicked a fag end over the balcony........ At least that got fixed anyway. We now have geese patrolling the grounds as an early warning alarm.

Re: What are you doing today??
Went to the social doctor today...... it was an experience but worthwhile, prescription should have cost €40.00 and I ended up paying €4.00 she also booked me in for blood tests not bad since my Spanish is rubbish and she didn´t have a word of English so feeling very fulfilled.
