Got new motorbike running now. Nice straightish forks on and wiring sorted (the previous owner had smashed it up and then to get some third party fire and theft insurance had rather obviously made it look as though it had been nicked) Tut-tut. It would only go on choke though so I had carb off and found nowt wrong. Just as I was about to put it back on I spotted something down the inlet port,,,,,,, a friggin 13mm nut! Now the last owner was a scouser but even so thats seems to be a strange place to hide swag.

Got loads of cheap stuff on ebay today, most from a guy in Skeggy. Wing mirrors with skulls on and a skull brakelight amongst other things. Handy cos I must go and check the yacht in Skegness, not seen it for at least 2 months, plus i need to whip the starter motor off which is fecked even though I paid some tosser £100 to fix it. If you want a job doing do it yourself is the answer. Might be suffering a late life crisis here. Keep looking at all the kids having fun in Ibiza, and tonight on TV it was Brits on the Piste in Andorra. I discovered Andorra donkeys years ago, tax free innit. Mind you I went in the summer, no snow and no Brits. Remember thinking at the time this place has potential.......

I heard somewhere that sales of HP sauce have fallen recently. Be as rare as salad cream soon. Watched last night a program on about Romanians in Britain, made my blood boil, roll on May 7th. Looks like the Chelsea fans have been voting already, not just with their feet either. Gendarmerie will probably lose any cctv footage I guess.

Went to the Wallace monument. The traffic has been awful on this trip. 2 hrs 20min for a 45 mile trip. There was a bad crash at the last big junction before the Forth bridge. On Wed, it took 2.5 hrs to get from Glasgow to Edinburgh (40 miles). Got caught at more roadworks in Leith this evening.

And there was me thinking the new Edinburgh tram system would have put paid to all that congestion, how much did it cost again, oh yeah seven point something million wasn't it, oh but they never mention the interest on the borrowing which takes up to about 1.2 billion, yip its the future...
