I've done bugger all today, went out and thought its too cold so i went back in,
When i picked Janet up from work she always asks how the day has been and what i have done,
Today i said i aint done nothing, she said and why not, Thats nice of her i thought,
I always feel guilty if i waste a day old habits i guess

Re: What are you doing today??
Been busy here. Monday I was painting and bought a new hog off ebay, this ones for me, lots of chrome. Tuesday more painting. Wednesday Freddie had to go to Hospital for more Xrays and they decided to take the 'scaffolding' off his foot. They have replaced it with what looks like a robots leg. At my suggestion Freddie asked if he could keep the scaffolding which they agreed to, some right handy bits of meccano like stuff and rods. Then we went to near Heathrow to collect new hog, nice and shiny. M25 and A1 as bad as ever. Got home and an email from his lawyer, the insurance company have decided to take 3 months to investigate it which apparently they are allowed to do so no interim payment for a while. No surprise there then, I will make sure it costs them dear.
Today I removed the badly bent forks from new hog and replaced them with Freddies which strangely survived the impact. Freddies bike now looks even worse. If they dont come and collect it soon there wont be much on it at all that works......

Old neighbours funeral today, met lots of old friends, some looking the worse for wear, one said"we are getting near our turn" to which I replied " speak for yourself I've booked another 30 years full board", sad day though Jim looked totally lost without Margaret, shame.

Ay, its not the ones who die that you feel sorry for, its the ones left behind. I hope I go first. Can't be arsed with all that shite of people commiserating with me. It'll give Eileen something to do anyhow

Make it clear in writing what sort of funeral you want, Burial or Cremation, save a whole load of trouble

I blame his stint in the Navy, must be hard with all those young hormones running rampant.
Anyway, I digress. Last night I watched a program by Billy Connolly all about death. Turns out hes got a cancer of the something or the other and oh, prostate, and Parkinsons disease. In USA he went to a funeral convention, bit like the car show at Olympia Reg and he was asking about the cost of coffins so the bloke showed him the bargain basement one for $425, a few planks of rough sawn timber with some rope for handles. Well feck I can do better than that. When I go have a look in the garage you will find some sheets of 8x4 9mm ply, about 60p each I think they cost me, ex packing cases for shipping. 2 or 3 sheets will do, cut them out and stick it together with gaffer tape, hanging up on a some nails, another job lot, drill some holes and stick some old rope through or even some chain, its all there, jobs a goodun. Patsy wont need 4 pillows so you can use one of them and a dust sheet or an old sail, feck theres a few of those....... Now you can either bury it in the ground, shove it in the septic tank, or use a couple of litres of fuel from the outboard motor in said garage to set me on fire, I could care less. Or what I would really prefer is chain me to one of the old engine blocks you will find in said garage, load me on the yacht at Skegness, sail out beyond the wind farm to about 25m of depth and drop me overboard. Dont bother with scattering expensive flowers on the waves, just chuck in a couple of those 2 litre bottles of cheap strong cider...... Heaven.

Took Freddie to physiotherapy then dropped him round grandsons house who has just passed his driving test. He has a black MG so if you see one beware, hes normally stoned.

Re: What are you doing today??
McD' is all crap. you are hungry again after half hour. Out kids are the same. Its our fault, we used to bring them to McD's for a "treat". Then, inside they got a free toy with the Kids Happy Meal. Its our fault for justing not saying "no" and then they get brainwashed inside from an early age. Yer one that put me off wheat and some fruits and veg said, if I was going to break out, to do it in style "Don't go near McD' or Burger King and to get a proper Italian chipper. Apparently, there are no additives to most of their stuff.
