Me and Mermaid just back from Crematorium. The wee village I was brought up in has had 5 deaths in a week! It's only got a population of about 1200 and everyone knows everyone else, so it hits pretty hard. Got a burial to go to in the village on Tuesday next...

We were going to collect our K9 Xmas Dinner tickets and walk a couple of dogs from the kennels but Jim is still not well.  It is less than a week on the tabs so hopefully they will kick in soon, having said that he is better than he was but still not great.

Thanks Cam, will do  - he kept feeling under the weather, tired and looked very pale, I told him to go to docs but he said what the hell do I tell them, anyway when friends said he looked awful he went and had a blood test.  Turns out he is very anaemic so 3 months of tablets, plus exercise programme then back for another blood test.

Which is why I asked TD to get me some nice liver, as that is supposed to be a good source of iron.

Awww...here's hoping the tablets will get rid of the anaemia. I've had it a couple of times too and the worrying thing is they don't know what causes it!

Thats what happened to Janet the time we had to cancel, lack of iron, she has a jab every 3 months and takes tablets, in fact she went this morning for a check up and everything is normal (Well for a female) So Jim can be fixed and back to normal, Give him my best 
Funerals  not good but we will all have one  except my mother who is still in the fridge 

I'm feeling shit as well, putting it down to having to good a time in Tenerife...

I'm the type of person who needs a holiday to recover from the holiday...

I'm feeling bright and perky after my jaunt to Tenerife but then I am a sensible drinker!    Best wishes to Jim and all the rest who are feeling a bit below par. And to Lynne our Karaoke lady who fell over a sprinkler playing golf last week and done her arm in.... Missed you!

Well that's us home, flights no bother, Barbados to London then on to Edinburgh, half hour delay due to a couple missing flight but bags were loaded and had to be unloaded, apart from that all was great

Was up the west coast a bit, but went down that end a couple of times, once on a Friday night to where they do a big fish fry night, and once through the day to see what it was like sober...
