Re: What are you doing today??
Good luck then. Just spent 2 hours filling in forms and printing off tickets. I need a fecking holiday now.Mcqueen wrote:I should have shoved up my arse and got screened for bowel cancer at the same time,
We did all that priority posting in the nice bag they sent, all military fashion etc but when they say they never got it but the results came this morning then they did get it so they are lying feckers,
I believe they are over run and lost control of it all, arse and elbow springs to mind, try again tomorrow

Re: What are you doing today??
Went to Whitehall clinic and was met by call center security who passed me to call center receptionist who took me in to call center doctor who checked the details then passed us to call center nurse who did the test, the rest of the people in waiting room looked like immigrants on a freeby by the look of their clothes - track suits, 6 others getting relieved of money and dressed accordingly,

Received an e/mail from the Bitacora to very kindly let us know that since the antigen test is now accepted in the Canaries, when we arrive they will credit our account with the sum of 60 euro to pay for the test

But on the plus side you can easy find somewhere to park. Parked right outside Sloop Bar yesterday afternoon where we failed to win anything but got pissed for €1.50 a pint.Mcqueen wrote:Been out after the clean up, very sad to see the place so quiet.

Re: What are you doing today??
So decision has been made we are not going to Tenerife 30th of this month wife has had a bad reaction to a procedure she got in hospital this week and with this and all the other crap / changes going on enough is enough. We will take the hit on the cost ( flights were no cheap ) we can rebook another flight but will come no where near the cost of these so nae sunshine for us this year, merry friggin christmas and a happy flipping new year

Reg I looked a this couple of days ago and really felt sad for everybody considering how it was 10 months ago. Nealy everything seams shut it would drive me crazy being the only ones on the street and not popping into places without a care in the world. Just wear that mask and stay safe.

Re: What are you doing today??
Hope your wife is on the way to getting better. Sorry about your holiday but it was best to cancel under the circumstances. 2021 can't come quick enough and it had better be bester than 2020.What with Brexit and covid I am not sure it will be though.angusjim wrote:So decision has been made we are not going to Tenerife 30th of this month wife has had a bad reaction to a procedure she got in hospital this week and with this and all the other crap / changes going on enough is enough.
