Very intelligent and cultured man that Nigel Kennedy. Knows where his heart lies. did I mention he lives in Dingle in Kerry? Think he is part of the group that set up Other voices where amonst others, Amy Winehouse played on a number of occasions.Adam Mint wrote:Well at about one am (that was today so still on topic) watched this, I'd taped it a few weeks ago, four of us and a few bottles, never knew the telly volume went up to 63 max,,, neither did the neighbours...

Thats true. I once got told that i could have only one more drink in a pub there at 4.40am The same fella also banned any talk on politics and religion. He produced ashtrays @ 1.00 am. S'one objected ( smoking ban in Ireland) and he told them and I quote"Go and ring the feckin' cops then and tell them what time you are still on the premises"

Trish see her every couple of days usually but I only see her once a week, and it'll be rarer now that Laura's job has gone as Trish won't need to babysit.

That reminded me of when we lived in a tiny village in Berkshire and the local used to have lock ins. The village bobby was there with us but when someone pinched his bike from outside we had a whip round to get him a new one as he couldn´t report what had happened3rdforum wrote:Thats true. Met our Belgian friends that arrived this morning, they are wanting to move here in a couple of years when she has spent from October to May in bed the rest of the time she can´t move around much without her mobility scooter. She arrived at 9.30 this morning and managed to walk along the seafront to a nice little bar for a drink. Amazing what a bit of sun can do.

Eileen's mum not great. She doesn't recognise one of her daughters and is raving a bit. Bit scary this sudden mental impairment. She was always very sharp.

Could be anything Kev, most likely suspect is that the lymphoma has spread to the brain, though that being said, it could be triggered by something as simple as an infection, though there is no raised temperature.

Re: What are you doing today??
Sounds like Brain, something to me.
On a lighter note, just had really good cocktails and Tapas in el pincho with our daughter. We came down the steps and there in front of me was a couple of lovely ladies, these were Jackie and Gemma, Mother and daughter. I grew up with Jackie and her brothers and they lived 4 houses along from us when I was a kid. Jackie's Mum died two weeks before I came here and she lived opposite me. Gemma who is Jackies Daughter grew up with Stu and we have had many a good laugh. What a small world or a big world to meet such lovely peeps in.
