Yeh, old farts are us, I keep forgetting    I was still 40 when i fell off the shed roof last week asking myself where i went wrong, Simple I'm too old for it  

Had a wasted day except for going for a meal.

I'm watching Wexford V Waterford playing Hurley. 2-9 to 0-12 at half time. The first figure is goals which you get 3 points for (getting the ball {sliotar} in the net, the second figure is points for getting the ball between the posts above the goal. (1 point each). So Wexford is winning 15 points to 12 just now. Good stuff!   
Dermo was at the Roscommon match, don't know how they got on...  

UPDATE: Roscommon beat Clare 15 points to 7! Dermo will be getting blootered noo!   

what match is that one?? Must be a juvenile or something. In the main match, Roscommon got beaten at home by Armagh by 7 points. We were never in the game and no one got sent off for any fisticuffs. Bad day all round really.

mmmm Wednesday, pool night, due to winning our doubles matches last week me and my partner were through to the next round due to be played tonight, but a guy from the opposing team couldn't make it tonight so we played Monday instead, match is over best of three games, first game was a bit scrappy from both sides but they managed to win it, second game we storm ahead, got it down to one red and the black and they've still got six balls on the table, they then start playing snookers, which we all would do given the situation, the buggers pulled it back and won, arghhhh, so that's us out...

      

So that's me a spectator tonight, two lads from my team are playing two of my mates from another team, so my loyalty will be with my team mates, hope they win so I can take the piss out my mates the rest of the evening, that said, if I had to put money on it, it wouldn't be on my team mates, the other two are good players, one of them won the individual championship last year...

So things aint looking good for our pubs trophy shelf at the moment,,, it's a good job they sell beer...

 

I never really got into pool, much preferred snooker.

As a kid we had a big house and a full size billiard table, I kept mice and hamsters on it, they slept in the pockets - until we had a game then they soon fecked off,
when i say game i mean smacking the balls about, I will have been 5 0r 6 ish,
