Re: What are you doing today??
Went into the city today, what an atmosphere, the whole place is jumping, festival acts everywhere doing their thing and handing out flyers, just walking along Princes St was a chore as there were so many people , had lunch in Miro's in Rose St ,it was also packed and people waiting for tables, the town looks great now with the trams running and no road works anywhere, passed the Ibis hotel which is a budget hotel and they were advertising rooms from£249 00 per night so god knows how much a city centre room must be, any way it's all good for the city and it's only half way through the festival

Re: What are you doing today??
My house is getting a makeover, one room at a time, its like the Forth Bridge but hasnt been done for ages. The lounge has been sugar soaped. I love that stuff, the ceiling dont need doing after all.
I am replacing a door with a window, got bricks sand and cement but crowbars on the boat...... Hmmm, I'll start something else.

Re: What are you doing today??
not long to go now. Major changes on the way regardless. Tax raising powers to be granted to the Scottish parliament if Scotland votes to remain in the UK. Every other parliament will want the same. England will want its own parliament so Scottish/Welsh/NI MP's won't have a say in the running of their affairs. 15 years down the road, you will have some kind of federal system. Mark my words, you've heard it here!

Re: What are you doing today??
That went under the radar. I thought it wasn't due until after the referendum. Kinda takes one of the reasons for independence away doesn't it?

We've had Macie all day. Her dad's just picked her up. Poor wee thing is knackered, she didn't have her usual afternoon nap.
