What are you doing today??

Just had my Nephew and niece round with their new baby, I'm a Gruncle!  He's been named Glenn after my sister's boy who died when he was 21. He had a heart transplant at 17 but only got 4 years out of it.   My sister's really chuffed! She's a Granty!    Macie got to hold him, she loved it! She started crying when he went home.

Morningall. Nothing on today but go to bank for some readies for the hols

Not had this years hols yet but have spent the morning and booked Xmas in the UK and the States for May 2015.  All spent up will have to get a job now or get Jim a paper round.  

Having a lie in, yip late one last night, well more seven thirty this morning than last night,,, pool night wasn't it, mixture of individual and pairs knock out matches, we had a catch up pairs match that should have been played last week but one of the other team was on holiday, if we won that match, we would then go on to play in the match scheduled for last night, well we did win, and went on to win the second match as well, so we're in the semi finals...
  


Couple of other mates done ok in there individual matches so party time it was,,, ended up in a krapioki bar, not that we're in to krapioki, just they're open to silly o'clock,,, then when it shut casino, a few more drinks and some sound financial investment then breakfast at Tiffianys, well McDonalds, its across the road from the casino innit...

mmmm, Thursday, quiz night...........

Yes that's it, considering the setting it is ever so reasonably priced. Felt really tropical as we sat and looked over all the sun drenched bodies as we had our lunch. Excellent and Carol as lovely as usual had a really good afternoon.

Just googled it, eaten there many times, paella mostly, they did a big one daily on a gas ring on display in the restaurant, you got a big helping at a reasonable price...

Val and I had booked to go to Sissi in Crete in September, Stewart Vals brother asked what I was doing for my birthday, off to Crete says I oh "would you mind if we came as well" he says, so we have company, should be great as long as they have rooms for us, not like Lanzarote, we often have a laugh about that. [no rooms on arrival] just Oct- Dec to sort out ,could be a Canaries cruise ,we enjoyed that last year.

I'm going to see a fella in my own time to see if he'll let us put a telephone pole in his garden. The weekend is the only time I can see him and I don't do OT.
